Designed, built and installed by our in-house carpenters. Cabinets, wardrobes, panelling, alcove storage, staircases — for London homes that deserve better than flat-pack.
Every piece is designed for the space it’ll live in. We scribe to skewed walls, match period mouldings, and finish to a standard you’d expect from work that takes weeks, not hours.
From workhorse oak to statement walnut — we source kiln-dried, FSC-certified timber from UK and European yards. For paint-grade pieces we use top-grade MDF; for cabinet carcasses, premium birch ply.
The workhorse. Strong, stable, beautiful grain. Best for cabinets, panelling, staircases.
The statement wood. Rich chocolate tones, fine grain. For pieces that need to make an entrance.
Light, pale, modern. Striking grain. Great for contemporary kitchens and feature pieces.
Clean, near-white timber with a tight grain. Disappears under stain or paint — ideal for built-ins.
Warm reddish-brown, deepens beautifully with age. A favourite for traditional joinery.
Salvaged from period buildings. Character, history, weight. Perfect for accent pieces.
We come to your home, measure the space precisely, talk through how you’ll use the piece, sketch options together. Free, no obligation, all London areas.

Made by our own carpenters in our south London workshop. Premium hardware, kiln-dried timber, finished to the spec we agreed.

These are typical London market ranges for 2026, not a fixed price list or TrustBuilt quote — every bespoke job is priced on its own design, materials and site, so treat the figures below as a reference point before we measure up.
Ranges typically cover design, made-to-measure manufacture, installation and a primed/painted or hardwood finish, with VAT where it applies. They exclude structural alterations, electrics for integrated lighting, decorating beyond the joinery itself, and the removal of existing furniture. London rates sit roughly 20–30% above the UK national average, reflecting higher labour and access costs.
Painted MDF is the budget baseline; oak, walnut or in-frame hardwood with hand-painted or sprayed finishes can double or treble the per-metre cost.
Simple shaker doors and open shelves are quick; curved work, glass fronts, sloped-ceiling cuts and intricate mouldings all add hours of skilled bench joinery.
Period London terraces with out-of-square walls, awkward chimney breasts, narrow stairs and parking restrictions all slow installation and lift the labour element.
Workshop-manufactured cabinetry gives a finer finish but costs more than carcasses built in situ; the choice shifts both price and the time spent in your home.
LED lighting schemes, soft-close ironmongery, built-in entertainment, concealed storage and feature handles each add to both materials and the wiring and fitting time.
Price is largely driven by linear metreage and unit count — a single alcove pair carries fixed set-up costs, while a whole-room scheme spreads those over more cabinetry.

Yes. Our carpenters work in our own workshop for cabinetry and freestanding pieces, then install on-site. For built-in work (alcoves, panelling, fitted wardrobes) we measure first, pre-cut in the workshop, then fit and finish on-site.
Hardwood (oak, ash, walnut), high-quality plywood for carcasses, MDF for paint-grade pieces. We use premium hardware (Blum, Hettich) as standard. We can source specific materials on request — reclaimed timber, exotic hardwoods, etc.
Yes. We regularly work in Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian homes where new joinery needs to match original mouldings, panelling profiles and finish. We replicate or sympathetically interpret the original detail.
Typically 30% on signing the order, 40% when materials are bought and workshop work begins, 30% on installation and snagging. Standard for custom carpentry.
We can do both. For straightforward pieces (wardrobes, alcove shelving, simple cabinets) we’ll design directly with you. For more complex work or specific aesthetic briefs, we can work alongside your interior designer or architect.
