Bathrooms, kitchens, boilers, leaks, mains pressure and central heating. Free site visits, written quote.
Plumbing is one of those trades where corner-cutting catches up with you years later — a slow leak behind a tiled wall, a boiler installed without proper flue clearances, copper joins that drip onto plasterboard until the ceiling comes down. TrustBuilt Projects keeps plumbing in-house precisely so we can control quality on jobs of any size, from a leaking stopcock through to full house re-pipes, new bathroom suites, kitchen plumbing, hot water cylinder upgrades and central heating system installs. We work in copper, push-fit and plastic where each is appropriate, pressure-test every closed system before walls and floors go back, and work to current UK Water Regulations and Building Regs Part G (hot water and sanitation) and Part L (efficiency). Gas and boiler work — combi swaps, system boiler upgrades, unvented cylinders — is delivered by qualified gas engineers on our team, with notifications handled the right way. We don't take shortcuts on safety paperwork and we don't leave you chasing certificates after the van's left.
We work across all London boroughs within 20 miles of central — Victorian terraces in Wandsworth and Hackney with their tight floor voids and cast-iron stack pipes, modern flats in Battersea and Canary Wharf with manifold systems, and family homes throughout the suburbs. Site visits are free for booked plumbing projects — we come, look at the system, work out what's actually going on, and give you a written quote after. No pricing over the phone for anything but the simplest jobs.
We visit your property, assess the work needed, and listen to your priorities.

Small jobs (replacing a tap, fixing a leak, fitting a basin) typically run £120 to £350. New bathroom suite installs sit between £2,500 and £6,000 for the plumbing element. A combi boiler swap is usually £2,200 to £3,800 supply and fit. Full house re-pipes on a 3-bed terrace are around £4,500 to £8,000. We provide a written quote after the free site visit for booked projects.
The plumbing element of a new bathroom — first fix to second fix — typically takes 3 to 5 working days, sequenced around the tiling and decoration. A full bathroom refurbishment (strip-out to snagging) is usually 2 to 3 weeks. A simple bath or shower swap can be a single day.
Yes — by law, any work on a gas appliance or gas pipework in the UK must be carried out by a registered gas engineer. Boiler swaps, gas hob installs and gas meter relocations on our jobs are delivered by qualified gas engineers on our team, with all notifications handled correctly and certificates issued to you on completion.
Sometimes — it depends on what's causing it. If it's an internal restriction (old galvanised pipe, partly closed stopcock, undersized supply pipe) we can replace the relevant section and the pressure comes right back. If it's a Thames Water mains issue, only they can fix it but we can fit a mains booster pump in your property to compensate. Free site visit to diagnose first.
Yes. Most leaks we trace by combining damp meter readings, thermal imaging where appropriate, and pressure-testing isolated sections of the system. Lifting one or two floorboards or making a small inspection cut is usually enough — far better than ripping out a whole ceiling on a guess. We charge for the leak-tracing visit and credit it against any repair work that follows.
Depends on the property. Combis suit smaller homes (one bathroom, two or three occupants) on good mains pressure — simple, no tank, on-demand. Larger homes or anywhere with two bathrooms running at once usually run better on a system boiler with an unvented cylinder, because a combi can't deliver two showers at full flow at the same time. We'll size it properly at the site visit.
Yes — soil stack replacement, waste pipe re-routing, gully and trap work, and external drainage down to the boundary. Below-ground drainage outside the property boundary is Thames Water's responsibility, but we'll diagnose the issue and tell you which side of the line you're on before anyone starts digging.

Figures are labour-led market rates for London in 2026. The call-out and hourly/day rates cover the plumber's time only; parts, fittings and fixtures (taps, toilets, radiators, boilers) are extra unless stated. Boiler and leak figures are all-in estimates that include typical materials. Out-of-hours, weekend and bank-holiday work carries a premium. VAT may apply on top.
Evening, weekend and bank-holiday call-outs cost significantly more than weekday daytime work; emergency response carries the steepest premium.
A visible pipe under a sink is quick; a leak behind tiles, under floors or inside a wall adds chasing, reinstatement and hours of labour.
Labour is only half the bill. Boilers, toilets, taps and radiators range hugely in price, and quality fittings drive the total cost up.
Swapping a tap is minutes; rerouting pipework, relocating a boiler or fitting a full bathroom suite needs more time, skill and often two trades.
London labour runs roughly 20–30% above the UK average, reflecting higher demand, travel, parking and operating costs across the capital.
Boiler and gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, with commissioning and certification adding cost over basic plumbing tasks.
