Custom entertainment space featuring a slatted wood ceiling, cinema lounge and integrated gaming zone.
The owners wanted to turn a generic family room into a true entertainment space — somewhere to host movie nights, gaming sessions, and gatherings without it feeling like a kid's playroom or a sterile media suite.
The slatted timber ceiling is the architectural anchor of the room, giving it texture and warmth that you can't achieve with plasterboard alone. We integrated LED strip lighting between the slats for atmosphere. The cinema lounge layout was planned around sight lines to the screen, while the gaming zone got its own bench seating and routing for cables and consoles.
A multi-purpose space that adapts to what's needed. It works as a cinema, a games room, or a relaxed lounge — and the slatted ceiling means it looks intentional from every angle.
