The original hallway was tired and dated — a typical London terrace entry corridor that didn't reflect the rest of the home. The owners wanted the hallway to set the tone for the rest of the renovation.
We panelled the staircase wall floor-to-ceiling for instant character. The internal doors were replaced with frameless glass to let light flow through the hallway from the rear of the home. The floor was relaid with large-format tiles, which visually elongate a narrow hallway and feel premium underfoot.
A hallway that feels considered the moment you walk in — and a clear statement that the rest of the home is going to be similarly thought-through.
